The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Thursday presented one of its top honors to a true example of someone pursuing the American Dream.
Stephan Lehm of Wilmington received the Gilman Bowl during the Chamber’s 2026 Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business Awards in Wilmington. Lehm was born in Germany and his family came to the United States when he was two-and-a-half years old. He is retired President of civil engineering / surveying firm VanDemark and Lynch, where he started working straight out of college.
“It’s quite an honor. I can’t get over it,” Lehm said. He added that he spent a lot of time working with the state chamber over his career, helping other businesses – “but I never thought I would be paid back in this way.”…
