Wilmington Police are currently investigating a shooting that took place inside a residence located in the 500 block of East 6th Street Monday morning. Officials said the incident, which occurred at approximately 3:07 a.m., resulted in a 27-year-old male sustaining gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital where he is reportedly in stable condition.
