WATCH: Woman Accused of Dropping Pants on Frontier Flight Because She Needed Bathroom Identified and Arrested

Dulce Huertas was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with interference with flight crew members and attendants, simple assault and indecent exposure

A Philadelphia woman who caused a scene on a November 2023 Frontier Airlines flight has been identified and charged with the incident that went viral.

According to a news release from United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero ‘s office, Dulce Huertas, 60, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with interference with flight crew members and attendants, simple assault, and indecent exposure on a Frontier Airlines flight from Orlando, Florida, to Philadelphia.

“If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 21 years and three months in prison, three years of supervised release, and a $355,000 fine,” the news release says.

The incident involving Huertas happened on a Nov. 20, 2023, Frontier Airlines flight from Orlando, Florida to Philadelphia. In a video shared and posted by passenger Julie Voshell Hartman, a woman, now identified as Huertas, was caught in a meltdown over needing to use the lavatory.
