The University of Delaware Police Department (UDPD) arrested Isaiah Anderson, a 24-year-old unaffiliated with the University, on two misdemeanor charges. Anderson was charged with privacy violation and third-degree burglary after an incident in December 2023. He allegedly filmed individuals without their consent in a women’s restroom in the Willard Hall Education Building.

The building was unlocked, granting Anderson unauthorized access. The UDPD confirmed that no hidden cameras were discovered in the restroom during their investigation. The victims in the footage were neither exposed nor identifiable.

After his arrest, Anderson was taken to the Howard Young Correctional Facility on a $3,000 secured bond. He was issued a no-contact order with the University of Delaware and is banned from all University property by the UD Police.

The University community is urged to report suspicious activity. The UDPD is dedicated to assisting victims, and the UD Helpline is available 24/7 for crisis support and victim advocacy.
