Fletcher Cox has words for Deebo after 49ers lose Super Bowl

Fletcher Cox couldn’t help himself after watching the San Francisco 49ers do what the Philadelphia Eagles did one year prior on Sunday: lose in the Super Bowl to the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Keep the Eagles out cho mouth,” Cox wrote on his Instagram story . “I still got some you ain’t got. Ya!! I been holding this one in son!!!”

Cox is, of course, referring to his Super Bowl ring, the one the Eagles won in 2018 over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

The 49ers and Eagles have a rivalry that has been boiling for a couple of seasons now. Before the Super Bowl, Samuel was asked about the rivalry with the Eagles and said laughing , “I consider rivalries close games. We ain’t going to talk about that no more. That’s over with.”

Cox, 33, has spent his entire 12-year career with the Eagles and recently spoke about his pending future with the organization, admitting he is taking it day by day.

The six-time Pro Bowl, three-time second-team All-Pro and one-time first-team All-Pro defensive tackle is one of the greatest players in Eagles history.
