Danville, Pa. — Several SPCA locations will be offering a reduced adoption fee this weekend.
The BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization, has sponsored select SPCA locations for a special “Empty the Shelters” event on May 11. Philadelphia, Danville, and Lancaster SPCAs are participating in the event.
During this event, all animals over the age of six months old will have their adoption fee reduced to $10.
As the nation’s largest funded adoption event, “Empty the Shelters” has helped nearly 140,000 pets find loving homes. During each nationwide event, BISSELL Pet Foundation sponsors reduced adoption fees to make adoption more affordable for prospective pet owners.
