New Castle County police are charging a 37-year old Newark man with multiple gun offenses following a drug sales investigation. Joseph McCarthy was arrested Tuesday, September 17, 2024, and police said when they carried out a search warrant at his residence in the 200 block of Holly Oak Drive, they found multiple firearms with large capacity magazines.
