A male juvenile was arrested following a shots fired incident near Freire Charter School on Wednesday at approximately 2:55 p.m.,. According to an official statement released by Freire, shots were fired outside the school building on East 15th Street. While no injuries were reported, law enforcement officers immediately secured the scene. School administrators made the decision to keep students inside until law enforcement confirmed the area was safe.
