Terence Henderson Wanted For Assault Turned Robbery

Terence Kenneth Henderson, 26, a Middletown, Delaware native most recently of Oxford, was seen by officers forcefully restraining a woman inside a parked vehicle in the 200 block of North Fourth Street at 8:27 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, police said. Officers were initially dispatched to the area for the report of a domestic disturbance.

When confronted by officers, Henderson fled on foot into a wooded area with a cell phone in his hand, according to police.

The woman told police that Henderson took her phone after he assaulted her. She had injuries consistent with her statement of the events, police said.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find Henderson, according to police. The woman’s phone was later found severely damaged in the 500 block of Wheeler Boulevard.

A family member contacted Henderson by phone and told police he was currently in Delaware, police said.

A felony arrest warrant was issued for Henderson on Wednesday, Oct. 2, police said. The arrest warrant was issued on charges of:
