Authorities in Gloucester County say a man who allegedly attempted to steal a video game system was beaten so badly that he had to have emergency brain surgery. According to the Glassboro Police Department, during the early morning hours of October 19th, their officers responded to a home on the 300 block of Carpenter Street for what was reported as a person who fell down some steps.
