OLD CITY – Families turned out Winterfest at Penn’s Landing Tuesday evening for ice skating, and other family-fun activities to celebrate the new year. The annual festive dressing up of the area William Penn arrived suffered a bit of rain Tuesday night, but the rain held off for the first show of fireworks to celebrate New Year’s Eve and it was quite a display.
