ELKTON — A judge ordered a woman to pay more than $30,000 in restitution after she pleaded guilty to a theft charge relating to her stealing from an Elkton-area Family Dollar store during a four-month period while working there as the general manager, according to Cecil County Circuit Court records.
Cecil County Circuit Court Judge Cameron A. Brown imposed a three-year sentence on the defendant — Deta Marie O’Toole, 38, of Earleville — for theft of more than $25,000 and less than $100,000 on Monday and then suspended the penalty, court records show.
The judge then placed O’Toole on three years of supervised probation and ordered to pay the Family Dollar store in the unit block of Chestnut Drive $31,130, according to court records…
