WILMINGTON, DE — A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shots fired incident that occurred late on March 26, according to the Wilmington Police Department. Authorities have identified the suspect as Jarrod Reams, who now faces multiple charges as a result of the investigation.
The incident unfolded around 10:00 p.m. in the 2200 block of Jessup Street, where officers from the Uniformed Services Division responded to reports of gunfire. While no injuries were reported, the seriousness of the situation prompted an in-depth investigation. Detective Thomas Rittenhouse of the Criminal Investigations Division led the inquiry, which ultimately identified Reams as the alleged perpetrator.
On March 29, officers located and arrested Reams without incident near the intersection of East 24th and Carter Streets.
