Police: Man wearing jail GPS anklet robbed North East convenience store

NORTH EAST — A man remained jailed Thursday after he allegedly robbed a convenience store near North East while wearing a jail-issued anklet — a GPS monitoring device that helped investigators place him at the business during the time of the holdup and pinpoint his location to arrest him, according to Cecil County District Court records.

Investigators identified the suspect as David Earl Biggs II, 39, of North East.
