In South Millville, authorities continued late Thursday afternoon to search for the second of two young girls who were missing after an overnight blaze destroyed six homes on one block.
City Commissioner Kirk Hewitt said the body of one girl was removed from the wreckage Thursday morning and was held on scene awaiting the arrival of staff from the medical examiner’s office.
