ELKTON — A man is facing attempted murder charges after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s Elkton residence while she and her new boyfriend were sleeping and stabbed the new boyfriend several times, including in the neck and in the face, according to the Elkton Police Department.
Investigators identified the suspect as 26-year-old Tahmir Lowrie, who was arrested in Lower Merion Township, Pa., near Philadelphia, after EPD investigators tracked him down with the assistance of Pennsylvania law enforcement.
