Attorneys, members of the judiciary, state lawmakers and members of the public joined a midday rally at Rodney Square in Wilmington Wednesday, called to support the Rule of Law.
The event, one day before traditional Law Day May 1st, was sponsored by the Delaware State Bar Association and Delaware Chapter of the American Constitution Society. Its purpose, according to Bar President Mary Dugan, was to “stress the importance of sustaining and maintaining the rule of law in our three-part government and making sure the judiciary is respected, the legislature is respected, as well as the executive branch.”
