The fire company that serves Newark is looking to stop any momentum towards installing speed bumps along Main Street.
Safety on Newark’s busiest artery has risen to forefront after two University of Delaware students have been struck and killed as pedestrians this year, including last month’s crash involving an alleged stolen van.
