Wilmington Police Seek Community Assistance in Search for Missing Man Alpha Sow

The Wilmington Police Department is reaching out to the community for help in the search for a local man reported missing since late March. According to a brief released through Nixle, 31-year-old Alpha Sow was last seen in the area of North King Street at around 5:00 p.m. on March 27.

Officials are urging anyone with any knowledge of Sow’s whereabouts to come forward, noting he was described as a black male, around 5’7″ in height, and weighing 210 lbs. At the time of his disappearance, Sow was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. Issued the day after Sow’s last known sighting, a Gold Alert remains active, which is typically used in Delaware to denote a missing person who may be in need of medical or other intervention…
