Two people were killed and four others injured in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday on the New Jersey Turnpike in Gloucester County, officials said.
A 19-year-old man driving an SUV north on the Turnpike lost control of the vehicle, it slid down an embankment to the right and struck a tree, State Police said. The crash took place at about 1:05 a.m, about three-quarters of a mile north of Exit 2 in Harrison.
