A man drowned Tuesday night while swimming with friends in Gloucester Township, police said.
The 22-year-old Swedesboro man, who was not identified Tuesday night, was pulled from a basin in the area of Crossroads Boulevard and Creekview Avenue by a diver at 8 p.m., according to a statement from the Logan Township Police Department. He was pronounced dead at 8:26 p.m.
