WILMINGTON, DE — A lengthy drug investigation in Wilmington concluded with the arrest of 42-year-old Marquis Lopez, who now faces multiple allegations of drug-related offenses.
On June 12, 2025, members of the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Drug Unit, along with the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on West 3rd Street. The warrant stemmed from a three-month investigation into Lopez, suspected of involvement in large-scale narcotics distribution.
Police reports indicate that Lopez and an adult female, along with four children, were found at the residence during the operation. Lopez was taken into custody without incident.
A search of the property led to the seizure of 171 bags containing approximately 5.13 grams of heroin/fentanyl, $5,775 in suspected drug proceeds, and various items of drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale and packaging materials…
