WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man faces multiple charges following a traffic stop that reportedly uncovered drugs and firearms in his vehicle, authorities said.
On Thursday, June 19, 2025, at approximately 8:02 p.m., Detectives from the New Castle County Division’s Active Crime Trends Team initiated a traffic stop on a Nissan Altima near the intersection of Governor Printz Boulevard and East Lea Boulevard after observing a traffic violation. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Jaylin Greenidge of Wilmington, was the sole occupant of the car.
During the traffic stop, Detectives noted a handgun inside the vehicle. After Greenidge exited the car cooperatively, Detectives discovered several boxes of chocolate infused with psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, and additional items of interest within the vehicle. Their search reportedly revealed a realistic replica of a Glock handgun and a separate, fully loaded authentic Glock firearm. Additional items seized included 28 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 25 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials…
