OXFORD, PA — A Lincoln University man has been charged with multiple offenses stemming from an alleged retail theft incident that reportedly occurred at a convenience store in March 2024.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the incident took place on March 1, 2024, at EVO, located at 281 South Third Street in Oxford. Surveillance footage reportedly captured 58-year-old William Frick asking a cashier for change. While the cashier was momentarily distracted, Frick allegedly took candy from a display and concealed it in his pocket. The value of the stolen candy is reported to be $6.87.
Following the incident, officers conducted a criminal history check, which allegedly revealed that Frick had three prior convictions. Under Pennsylvania law, this history elevated the alleged theft to a felony offense. A warrant was subsequently issued for Frick’s arrest…
