WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a shooting that occurred on June 27, 2025, according to law enforcement officials.
Authorities said at approximately 4:05 p.m., officers from the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 200 block of Stroud Street for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located a 23-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
According to Wilmington Police, the case was assigned to Detective John O’Connor of the Criminal Investigations Division.
