A new McDonald’s at 2507 Concord Pike in Talleyville has risen from the ashes of the former fast-food restaurant at the site that was demolished after a fire in January 2024.
The new restaurant opened on June 28. It includes an expanded drive-thru designed to solve the problem of vehicles backing up in the right lane of Concord Pike, waiting to enter the McDonald’s parking lot.
To make room for the larger drive-thru, owner Dukart Management demolished the company’s office building next to the restaurant and consolidated that lot with the McDonald’s. The combined property totals just over three-quarters of an acre.
