Gloucester County EMT charged with stealing cash from patient’s purse

A man was charged with stealing more than $200 from a patient’s purse while working as an EMT for Gloucester County, prosecutors said on Wednesday.

Authorities say Antoni Simmons, 44, of Glassboro, New Jersey, was dispatched to Newfield when he stole around $220 from a patient receiving medical aid.
