The East Side of Wilmington is creating more affordable housing opportunities, including for tenants who could be on the path to home ownership.
Five homes were once crowded onto a stretch of Bennett Street. After a period of vacancy, three more spacious, energy-efficient rental homes are now occupied through a partnership including the Delaware Affordable Housing Group and the Wilmington Housing Authority.
