CLAYMONT, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon at a McDonald’s on Philadelphia Pike during a planned sale arranged online.
According to investigators, two unidentified males met the victim inside the fast-food restaurant at 2702 Philadelphia Pike around 4:30 p.m. The meeting was intended for the purchase of an item the victim had listed for sale.
Before the transaction could take place, one of the suspects grabbed a bag containing the item, prompting a struggle. During the confrontation, a suspect reportedly reached toward his waistband and implied he had a firearm, prompting the victim to release the bag…
