WILMINGTON, DE — A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with a fireworks-related assault that injured a 27-year-old woman in Wilmington, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred on the morning of July 12, around 8:00 a.m., when Wilmington Police responded to the 700 block of Madison Street following reports of an assault. Upon arrival, officers found the female victim and learned that she had sustained injuries after fireworks were allegedly discharged in her direction. She was transported to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
