PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia’s largest blue-collar workers’ union is expected to announce Monday whether it will accept a new contract with the city.
District Council 33 reached a tentative three-year agreement earlier this month. The deal would raise wages by 9% over the contract period, significantly less than the union’s original ask.
