Police accuse man of kidnapping, burglary and attempted robbery

A Philadelphia man is facing numerous charges in connection with a kidnapping, a burglary and an attempted robbery that occurred in Delaware during late spring.

According to New Castle County Police, officers investigated an incident in late May in which a male was abducted outside a residence in the Wilmington area, handcuffed, and was subject to threats and demands for money. The victim called several family members to plead for money, which was given to the suspect. Also, the kidnapper forced the victim to transfer ownership of his car to the suspect before being let go.

Police were also investigating a late April burglary in which a suspect wearing an Amazon vest forced his way into a New Castle home and stole property. Police said 49-year-old Khar Abdulah of Philadelphia was developed as a suspect in both crimes…
