Earlier this week, Wilmington Police apprehended a 19-year-old man identified as Malikye Boyer on charges relating to firearms and narcotics possession, this arrest occurred during a routine vehicle stop by the Uniformed Services Division.
The incident took place in the early hours of July 18, around 2:39 a.m. near the intersection of West 4th Street and Delamore Place the officers conducted the stop and upon engaging with the passenger, Boyer, they discovered several illegal items including a loaded 9mm handgun reported stolen, another loaded .380 caliber handgun, and a considerable quantity of marijuana approximately weighing 185 grams.
According to the official report, Boyer now faces multiple serious charges such as Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, and Receiving a Stolen Firearm these charges reflect the gravity of the offenses and the potential risks associated with firearms and drug offences…
