Wilmington Man Arrested in February Shooting; Faces Multiple Felony Charges

WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man has been arrested in connection with a February shooting that left one person hospitalized and has now been charged with a series of serious felony offenses, including assault and weapons violations, according to city police.

The incident occurred on February 24, 2025, at approximately 7:20 a.m., when officers were dispatched to the area of Vandever Avenue and Locust Street for reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
