RADNOR — Radnor officials have passed a resolution to block its police officers from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement officers for people violating offenses the township is calling “non-criminal” federal immigration laws.
Commissioner Moira Mulroney introduced the resolution at the board’s July meeting.
“Tonight, I’m proud to introduce this resolution that affirms Radnor’s core values of fairness, dignity and inclusion. The measure makes clear that our local police will not participate in immigration enforcement activities or enter into any 287G agreement with, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, otherwise known as ICE,” Mulroney said…
