WILMINGTON, DE — A man and a woman from Wilmington have been arrested following an undercover investigation into suspected drug activity in the city’s West Side, authorities announced this week.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, the arrests stem from a month-long probe conducted by the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division targeting suspected narcotics distribution in the 1700 block of West 3rd Street. On the morning of July 31, at approximately 8:48 a.m., investigators—with support from the Safe Streets Task Force—detained 29-year-old Donnell Gill and 29-year-old Jalone Nichols in the 800 block of West 6th Street.
Police reported that both individuals were taken into custody without incident. A search during the operation allegedly yielded a loaded .38-caliber revolver, over 100 grams of crack cocaine, additional ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and more than $3,400 in cash…
