BEAR, DE — A Philadelphia man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place earlier this year in a Bear shopping center parking lot, according to the Delaware State Police.
Authorities announced that 19-year-old Victor Johnson was taken into custody on August 4, 2025, by Wilmington Police in city limits. The arrest follows a months-long investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on March 2 at approximately 10:51 a.m. at the Sunset Station shopping center, located at 1835 Pulaski Highway.
According to the initial report, a man driving a Chevrolet Equinox encountered three unidentified males walking through the parking lot. A verbal confrontation ensued, during which the victim briefly exited his vehicle. As he re-entered, two of the suspects allegedly drew handguns and opened fire on the vehicle.
