NEWARK, DE — The Newark Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 37-year-old Walter Lafferty of Wilmington, who is wanted in connection with several criminal investigations across Delaware.
According to police, Lafferty is the subject of an active arrest warrant related to a June burglary in Newark, during which he is also alleged to have unlawfully used a payment card on multiple occasions.
In addition to the Newark charges, authorities report that Lafferty is wanted by two other Delaware law enforcement agencies. These separate warrants include allegations of terroristic threatening and shoplifting.
