Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) Police officers interceded in a reported child abduction on Thursday afternoon, August 14, 2025, on the Delaware-bound span of the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
New York City Police (NYPD) notified the DRBA about a suspect possibly heading south, who allegedly picked up his 5-year old daughter from a school in the city without the mother’s consent.
Around 1:30 p.m. DRBA units stationed on the southbound span intercepted the suspect vehicle and without incident took 35-year old Luis Mota of Stafford, Virginia, into custody and charged him as an out of state fugitive…
