Traffic Stop Leads To Multiple Charges For Pair

On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 6:50 p.m., Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police’s Active Crime Trend (ACT) Team were patrolling the Edgemoor area when they observed a red Nissan Sentra traveling at a high rate of speed on Governor Printz Boulevard according to officials. The Nissan continued along Governor Printz, committing several traffic infractions before being stopped by Detectives in the 1200 block of Prospect Drive.

The vehicle was operated by 28-year-old Bre’yanah Coleman-Davis of Wilmington, with 29-year-old Wanya Wray of Philadelphia as a passenger. During the stop, Detectives recovered a loaded Smith and Wesson handgun and a loaded G3 Taurus 9mm inside the vehicle police said.

Bre’yanah and Wanya were taken into custody and transported to New Castle County Police headquarters…
