Newark based food and wellness company GOLO dropped off over 500 frozen meals to the New Castle County Hope Center on Monday, August 18, 2025.
New Castle County Executive Marcus Henry was appreciative of the donation, and joined in a box brigade with representatives from GOLO and the Hope Center to unload the meals from the back of a van onto the Hope Center loading dock.
“It’s critically important that our residents get healthy meals and I’m just so grateful to GOLO for offering this right now,” said Henry. “It’s wellness, it’s a holistic approach in terms of our residents, to make sure they get the care they need and food is a big part of that care.”…
