WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that left a 48-year-old man injured Sunday afternoon in the city’s East Side neighborhood.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on August 24, 2025, at approximately 2:04 p.m. in the 800 block of Vandever Avenue. Responding officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
