NORTH EAST — A woman remained jailed Tuesday after she allegedly threatened to shoot her husband while brandishing his handgun inside their residence near North East, according to Cecil County District Court records.
Investigators identified the suspect as 51-year-old Ammie L. Casula Creese, who is facing seven criminal charges, including first-degree assault, use of a handgun in the commission of a felony or a crime of violence and illegal possession of a regulated firearm, court records show.
First-degree assault is punishable by up to 25 years in prison and use of a handgun in the commission of a felony or a crime of violence carries a maximum 20-year sentence, with a mandatory five-year penalty.
