Some kids might be sad to see summer vacation come to an end, but not Carter and Colby Salo. The fourth-grader and second-grader couldn’t wait to return to West Park Place Elementary School on Tuesday.
“They could not sleep last night. They were up every hour, like ‘Is it time for school yet?’ mom Alexys Salo said. “I think they’re excited to see their friends and excited for new experiences and new teachers.”
All across the Christina School District, approximately 14,000 students are heading back to the classroom this week.
