ELKTON — A judge has granted probation before judgment to a woman who deliberately rammed her sport utility vehicle into her ex-boyfriend’s motorcycle on a Fair Hill road — knocking him and his female passenger off of it, according to Cecil County Circuit Court records.
Cecil County Circuit Court Judge Cameron A. Brown struck the guilty verdicts that a jury returned against the defendant — Loura Laraine Waid, 56, of Elkton — at the conclusion of a two-day-long trial last month and then placed her on two and a half years of supervised probation during an Aug. 28 courtroom hearing, court records show.
