Glassboro launches AI program that can detect guns inside schools and immediately alert police

NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — Glassboro has a new artificial intelligence program that can detect guns in its schools and automatically alert police.

This pilot program is in place at all public schools in Glassboro. It combines the AI gun detection technology of Pennsylvania-based ZeroEyes with the rapid communication system Singlewire to provide school officials and first responders with detailed information if a gun is brought into a school.
