Newark’s Glendale Community Alert: Police Chase Down Suspects Following Spree of Vehicle Break-Ins

In a recent burst of police activity, law enforcement officials descended on Glendale Community in Newark, Delaware, after reports emerged of numerous vehicles being broken into. Taking swift action, officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to the call and promptly set up a cordon in the vicinity of Darwin Road.

The urgency of the situation led to a foot pursuit, subsequently resulting in two suspects being detained–the culprits believed to be connected to a vehicle theft in the area. A statement released on social media by the New Castle County Police indicated that the stolen motor vehicle was located near the scene. Officers believe these individuals may have targeted several neighborhoods along the Pulaski Highway corridor over the past night.
