A local teen used his Eagle Scout project to help spruce up a historic Newark cemetery.
The St. John Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery has been at the corner of Elkton Road and West Park Place since 1892. However, in recent years, it had become overgrown and was attracting vandalism, vagrancy and partying, said Charles E. Wyszynski, facilities manager for St. John/Holy Angels.
