Wilmington police have identified the person who was shot and killed at Sixth and Pine streets in the early evening of Oct. 8 as 16-year-old Nathan Lopez of Newark.
A second person injured in the shooting, a 17-year-old boy, remains in critical condition, police said. His name was not released.
It appears at least one of the victims may have been a student within Christina School District, as the system posted a message to its school community in the late morning of Oct. 9. District officials have not yet confirmed more specifics…
