$2,500 Heist Sparks Wild Chase: Two Arrested, One Suspect Still on the Run

WILMINGTON, DE — Delaware State Police have charged two Wilmington residents in connection with an alleged organized retail theft that led to a vehicle pursuit through portions of the city earlier this week.

Authorities identified the suspects as 35-year-old Kerryn Vinson and 33-year-old Taysha Bultran. According to police, the incident began on October 13, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., when troopers responded to a report of a theft in progress at Dick’s House of Sport, located at 1000 Brandywine Parkway.

Store employees told investigators that three individuals allegedly stole roughly $2,500 worth of merchandise before fleeing in a Chevrolet Malibu with a Delaware temporary registration tag. Troopers later spotted a vehicle matching that description traveling southbound on Concord Pike near Interstate 95. When officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the driver allegedly refused to comply and fled into the City of Wilmington, committing several traffic violations in the process…
